Today, within the framework of the III CIS Games, taekwondo athletes are competing for medals in seven weight categories in Mingachevir.
Idman.biz reports that representatives of Azerbaijan have reached the finals in five of them.
Among the girls, Khumay Dadashova (up to 46 kg) and Maryam Mammadova (up to 53 kg) will compete for the gold medal. Among the boys, Ulvi Rahimzade (54 kg), Ziya Hasanli (63 kg) and Eljan Agayev (74 kg) will perform in the final.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan retains the chance to win gold medals in several weight categories.
