The 45th Seminar of the European Olympic Committees (EOC) and the Olympic Solidarity Forum, organized by the EOC, has started its work at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Malta.
Idman.biz reports with reference to the press service of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) that our country is represented at the forum by the Vice-President of the NOC Chingiz Huseynzade, Secretary General Azer Aliyev and Head of the Foreign Relations Department Anar Bagirov.
The first day started with the official opening ceremony of the 45th EOC seminar and the Olympic Solidarity Forum. The opening ceremony was addressed by Julian Pace Bonello, President of the Malta National Olympic Committee, Spiros Capralos, President of the European Olympic Committees, Clifton Grima, Malta's Minister of Education, Sports, Youth, Research and Innovation, as well as European Commissioner Glenn Micallef.
The forum included meetings of the EOC Executive Committee, meetings with commission chairmen, joint working sessions, the presentation ceremony of the 10th Winter Piotr Nurowski European Best Young Athlete Award, and seminars on the EOC and Olympic Solidarity.
The EOC forum plays an important role in supporting young European athletes, promoting Olympic values and strengthening international cooperation.
