The World Judo Championships among Cadets continues in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.
Idman.biz reports that two more athletes of the Azerbaijani national team joined the competition on the third day of the competition. Both of them said goodbye to the competition ahead of schedule.
Boys
73 kg
Although Mahammad Agakishiyev won against Atkhan Bichoyev (IJF) in the 1/16 finals, he then failed against Veliko Varnicic (Serbia).
Girls
57 kg
Samaya Yusifli (57 kg) lost to Nonoka Yamakawa (Japan) in the 1/16 finals.
It should be noted that Anar Guliyev (50 kg) and Zeyd Alasgarov (60 kg) have already won bronze medals in the World Cup as part of our national team. Individual competition will end on August 30. The next day, there will be a mixed team competition.
