Azerbaijani judoka Zelim Kotsoyev (100 kg) will compete for a bronze medal at the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
According to "Report", the Olympic champion, who lost in the 1/4 finals, defeated Spanish representative Nikoloz Sherazadishvili in the consolation match.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan is represented at the World Championships by 13 judokas (9 men, 4 women) in 10 weight categories in individual competitions. Our team will also compete in the mixed team competition.
Our judokas Zelim Tckaev (81 kg) and Eljan Hajiyev (90 kg) won bronze medals.
