Hidayat Heydarov and Rashid Mammadaliyev remained without medals at the "Grand Slam"

Azerbaijani judokas Hidayat Heydarov and Rashid Mammadaliyev finished the "Grand Slam" tournament held in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, without awards. Sport24.az reports that Olympic, world and European champion Hidayat Heydarov lost to Mukhiddin Asadulloyev (Tajikistan) in the 1/8 finals.

 

Rashid Mammadaliyev lost to Steven Boldbaatar from the USA.

 

Both of our judokas competed in the 73 kg weight category.
