An official belt grading examination was held with the organization of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation and the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Sport24.az reports that the event took place at the Nakhchivan Olympic Sports Complex named after Ilham Aliyev.
In the examination, 86 judokas demonstrated their skills in white-yellow, yellow, orange, green, blue, and brown belt grades according to their age. Athletes who successfully completed the examination were awarded with relevant belts and certificates.
Belt examinations serve to ensure that judokas master techniques more systematically and comprehensively, and also increase their motivation. This stage is also considered one of the important conditions for participating in prestigious domestic competitions in the future.
