Two more young judokas from Azerbaijan will join the competition today at the World Championship held in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.
According to "Report", Mahammad Agakishiyev (73 kg) will face the winner of the pair Yeso Samsiani (Georgia) / Atkhan Bichoyev (IJF) in the 1/16 finals, and Samaya Yusifli (57 kg) will face Nonoka Yamakawa (Japan) in the same round.
It should be noted that 11 judokas from Azerbaijan have already entered the tatami. Among them, Anar Guliyev (50 kg) and Zeyd Alasgarov (60 kg) won bronze medals.
Individual competition in the tournament will end on August 30. On August 31, a mixed team competition will take place.
