According to the International Judo Federation calendar, the Grand Slam tournament will be held in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, on May 1-3. Sport24.az reports that Azerbaijan will be represented in the prestigious competition by 6 judokas in 4 weight categories under the leadership of the senior coaches of the men's national team - Elchin Ismayilov and Slavko Tekic.
248 athletes from 34 countries will test their strength in the tournament, which is included in the World Judo Tour.
