The names of the judokas who will represent Azerbaijan at the "Grand Slam" tournament to be held in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, on May 1-3, have been announced.
Idman.Biz reports that the Azerbaijan Judo Federation has released information about this.
It was stated that six judokas in four weight categories will compete in the competition under the leadership of the senior coaches of the men's team - Elchin Ismayilov and Slavko Tekic.
The team includes Murad Muradli (60 kg), Nizami Imranov, Islam Rahimov (both 66 kg), Rashid Mammadaliyev (73 kg), Ushangi Kokauri, Jamal Gamzatkhanov (both +100 kg).
248 athletes from 34 countries will test their strength at the "Grand Slam", which is included in the World Judo Tour.
