Today, the Azerbaijan Championship among U14 judokas starts. Sport24.az reports that the competition will be held at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex.
427 judokas representing 103 clubs and sports societies, including 326 boys and 101 girls, will compete in a total of 18 weight categories in the tournament.
On the first day of the competition, 137 athletes will step onto the tatami. Matches will be held in the 36 kg, 48 kg and 63 kg weight categories among girls, and in the 38 kg, 50 kg and 66 kg weight categories among boys.
