The top two teams in the Beach Soccer Super League will represent Azerbaijan in European competitions.
This was stated to "Report" by Rufat Hasanov, manager of the Azerbaijan Beach Soccer Federation.
"The top two teams will qualify for European Cups. We are trying to make such competitions continuous. Because it is always interesting, and the players like it. But unfortunately, it doesn't always work out. For example, we wanted to hold a tournament last year, but it didn't happen. All Super League games will be held at the Baku Water Sports Palace. European Cup games have so far been held in Nazare, Portugal. It has not yet been specified where it will take place this year," the official said.
He emphasized that the participation of clubs that provide a bank guarantee letter is confirmed in the Super League:
"A total of 6 teams will compete in the competition. Those teams that have officially applied and provided a bank guarantee for participation in European Cups will also participate in the competition."
It should be noted that the Super League will be held between July 11-15.
