Taleh Nasibov, Executive Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Minifootball Federation, does not believe that Azerbaijani teams performed poorly in the Champions League.
According to "Report", he made a statement to journalists about this.
T. Nasibov said that he watched the games of "Aznur", "Birbaşa Bakı" and "Zirə" in the tournament:
"We had more expectations from "Birbaşa Bakı" and "Zirə" clubs. "Aznur" also showed itself well. There were great hopes. There were members of our national team who were world champions. I don't think they performed poorly. It was bad luck. The penalty shootout played a decisive role. I think that in the coming years, one of our teams may become the winner of the Champions League".
