"We have a new national team mostly made up of young people. These kinds of friendly games are important. We are behind the opponent in every way." These words were stated by Namig Mammadkarimov, a former member of the futsal team, in his statement to Sport24.az.
He commented on our team's defeat to Kazakhstan in friendly matches:
"Teams like Kazakhstan laid the foundation for the right strategy in time. No one can blame us. Thank you to the futsal players, they did their best. The reason for our loss is that our team's squad is young. A few years ago, Brazilian legionnaires wore uniforms in our team. We learned a lot from watching them. What will we learn from the current ones? The Kazakhstan national team also used this experience. Also, the opponent has teams for all lower age groups. I have been there myself, I have seen it. If 2-3 futsal players come out of each age group, it is a great support for the national team. They surpass us in this regard. They built the right strategy in time and are seeing the results today.
It should be noted that in the first match between the teams, the home team won with a score of 9:2. In the second match, our national team lost with a score of 2:4.
