Idman.Biz reports that Isa Atayev stated in his statement to journalists that the Azerbaijani national team aims to win the next matches of the European Championship held in Slovakia as well.
"We want to make our people happy. We expected the first match to be difficult. The first matches are always difficult. All teams fight to the end. We are the current world champions. For this reason, every team plays a different game against us. We weren't quite used to the field either. It was difficult because it was the first match," said Isa Atayev.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team defeated the Austrian team 1:0 in its first match of the continental championship.
