Azerbaijan's FIFA referee Hikmat Gafarli has received his next appointment in the final stage of the European Championship.
Idman.Biz reports that the press service of the Azerbaijan Futsal Federation has released information about this.
Our compatriot will be the first referee of the Ukraine-Lithuania match to be held in Group B. He will be assisted by Peter Nurse from England and Chiara Perona from Italy. The meeting will take place on January 25 at 19:00 at the "Jalgiris Arena" in Kaunas with a capacity of 17,500 fans.
It should be noted that H. Gafarli's first appointment was for the Armenia-Ukraine match held in the same arena on January 22. The referee, who performed the function of timekeeper in that match, will debut as the main referee on the field for the first time in the final stage.
