The "Heydar Aliyev Cup" futsal tournament dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev has started in Nakhchivan among teams of state institutions.
Idman.Biz reports that the State Anthem was played at the opening ceremony held at the Ilham Aliyev Olympic Sports Complex, and the memory of the Great Leader and martyrs was commemorated.
In the first match of the tournament, Nakhchivan Television and Radio Broadcasting CJSC defeated the team of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources with a score of 5:2.
It should be noted that the competition, in which 20 teams participate, will end on May 27. The winner of the tournament will be awarded the "Heydar Aliyev Cup".
