The futsal tournament dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, jointly organized by AFFA and Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) within the framework of UEFA's "Hat-Trick" program in Baku, has concluded. According to Sport24.az, the decisive matches of the competition took place on the futsal field of the university's sports hall.
In the match for third place, the team of the Faculty of Transport and Logistics defeated the team of the ITT Faculty with a score of 2:0 and became the bronze medalist of the tournament.
In the final match, the team of the Faculty of Economics faced the team of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgy.
The team of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgy, which defeated its opponent 2:0 in extra time, became the winner of the tournament.
In the end, the winning team was awarded a cup by AFFA, and the first three teams were awarded with appropriate medals.
In addition, players who distinguished themselves in the tournament were awarded special prizes in various nominations.
The awarding ceremony was attended by veteran football player Vali Gasimov, Head of the Communication Department of Azerbaijan Technical University Safa Bagirov and other officials.
They congratulated the winning and prize-winning teams and presented cups and awards.
AFFA and AzTU plan to implement joint projects in this direction in the future.
