A futsal referees and inspectors seminar was held in Baku with the organization of AFFA and the support of UEFA.
"Report" reports that the three-day seminar was led by Peri Gothier, UEFA expert and instructor for futsal.
He conducted theoretical and practical exercises for the participants, presenting the latest changes in the rules of the game, modern refereeing principles, and methods of analyzing episodes.
Leading and young futsal referees from different regions of the country, as well as inspectors who evaluate their activities, participated in the event. The main goal of the seminar was to contribute to the development of Azerbaijani futsal refereeing in accordance with international standards and to strengthen cooperation with UEFA.
Peri Gothier noted the high interest and activity of the participants and stated that he believes the seminar will play an important role in raising the level of refereeing in Azerbaijani futsal.
AFFA representatives thanked UEFA and Peri Gothier for their support and emphasized that the continuous holding of such trainings plays an important role in the development of futsal refereeing.
