The draw ceremony for the Media Cup mini-football tournament, which will be held in Shamakhi on July 19-20 in connection with the 150th anniversary of the National Press, has taken place.
"Report" reports that representatives of the teams that will compete in the competition and officials participated in the event organized by the Press Council, along with the organizers.
Umud Rahimovlu, Deputy Chairman of the Press Council, thanked the organizers of the tournament. He stated that this will add color to the National Press Day. He said that competitions could also be organized in the Karabakh region in the future.
Murad Aliyev, the head of "Yurd Media", one of the organizers, also emphasized the importance of transferring this tournament to the regions and making it sustainable in his speech.
4 teams - "Ziya", "Kəşkül", "Kaspi" and "Əkinçi" will compete in the competition.
The pairs to face each other in the first round are as follows:
"Ziya" - "Kaspi"
"Kəşkül" - "Əkinçi"
It should be noted that the competition will be organized by "Yurd Media", the Sports Research Center, AFFA and the Shamakhi Olympic Complex.
