The draw ceremony for the 2025/2026 season of the Azerbaijan Minifootball Championship has been held.
According to "Report", the event was attended by the Executive Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Minifootball Federation (AMF) Taleh Nasibov, members of the national team, and club officials.
First, there was a discussion about the World Championship held in Baku this year. It was emphasized that the Azerbaijani national team's winning a gold medal in the tournament was a memorable success.
Taleh Nasibov wished success to the teams that will compete in the new season. He said that minifootball has developed in Azerbaijan in recent years:
"After becoming European champions in 2022, more attention was paid to minifootball. We cannot talk about development if the national championship is weak. We want new clubs and players to be involved in the championship. There are many ambitious teams. We believe that in the future, one of our teams will again become the winner of the Champions League. In 2025, Azerbaijan hosted the World Championship. We achieved great success in this competition and became the winner of the World Cup."
Finally, the federation official added that 16 teams will compete in the Azerbaijan Championship.
A video dedicated to the World Championship in Baku was shown, then information was given about the regulations of the Azerbaijan Championship, and the draw for the 2025/2026 season was held.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Championship will start on October 21.
