The draw for the 2025/2026 season of the Azerbaijan futsal Premier and First Leagues has taken place.
"Report" reports with reference to the press service of the Futsal Federation that at the ceremony held in the administrative building of AFFA, first of all, "Araz-Nakhchivan", which successfully completed the preliminary stage in the UEFA Champions League and won the right to participate in the main stage, was congratulated.
6 teams will compete in the Premier League. "Lankaran" is a debutant among them. The games will consist of 4 rounds and 20 rounds. The team with the most points will be declared the champion and will represent our country in the UEFA Champions League next season. Club representatives were informed about the changes made in the regulations. In the new season, there will be no limit on legionnaires in the Premier League. Teams will be able to include the names of the allowed number of foreign futsal players in the application and the game protocol. In the first round, the gold and silver medalists of the past championship will face each other.
10 teams will participate in the First League. At the end of the round-robin system consisting of one round, the teams that are in the first "4" will advance to the play-off stage. The owner of the 1st place will face the fourth, and the owner of the 2nd place will face the team in the third place.
Unlike the Premier League, a limit on legionnaires will be applied in the lower league. Teams will be able to register and play 4 foreign players with amateur status.
