"We apologize for being late." Sport24.az reports that the head coach of the Greek representative "Aris" Marinos Uzunidis said this at a press conference before the first match of the II qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League against "Araz-Nakhchivan" in Baku.
The 57-year-old specialist, who arrived 20 minutes late from the scheduled time of the event, said that they will play an important game: "We will train today. We already have an important meeting tomorrow. We will prepare for that game as well."
He recalled that they had visited Baku before: "We played against Gabala. A difficult game awaits us tomorrow. We watched several of Araz-Nakhchivan's games from last season and two friendly games this year. We will do our best to qualify for the next stage."
It should be noted that the first match between "Araz-Nakhchivan" and "Aris" will be held on July 24 at "Dalga Arena". The starting whistle of the match will sound at 20:00. (Telegraph)
