The preparation plan of the "Araz-Nakhchivan" club, the latest winner of the Azerbaijan Futsal Championship, for the winter break has been determined.
Mahmud Sadigov, vice-president of the Nakhchivan club, reported about this.
He also stated that there will be some changes in the squad.
"Today we have a postponed game from the 9th round of the High League with U-19. After that, we will give the team a rest. We will resume training on January 15. Probably, there will be some changes in the squad. Negotiations are currently underway. We did not renew the contract with Brazilian futsal player Carlos Bertuola. Mirza Amirov underwent surgery and ended the season early. We are thinking of bringing in other players to the squad instead of them," he said in his statement to "Report".
It should be noted that the third round of the Azerbaijan Futsal High League will start on January 19, 2026.
