"Araz-Nakhchivan", which will represent Azerbaijan in the UEFA Futsal Champions League, has strengthened its squad with a Brazilian player.
The vice-president of Nakhchivan's representative Mahmud Sadigov told "Report" about this.
The club has signed a 1-year contract with Longo Duarte Baptista. The 28-year-old futsal player was transferred from the Belgian club "Anderlecht".
It should be noted that the team, coached by Yevgeni Kuksevich, will represent Azerbaijan in the UEFA Champions League. The team will face "Ljuti" (Austria), PYF (Scotland), and "Sparta" (Northern Ireland) in Group F.
The matches of this group will be held in Austria between August 26-31.
