"Araz-Nakhchivan" Suffers Heavy Defeat to "Benfica" in Champions League

"Araz-Nakhchivan" played its first match in the 1/8 final stage of the UEFA Champions League. Sport24.az reports that the Azerbaijani champion, hosting "Benfica", lost by a large score - 0:9.

 

The match was held at the Baku Sports Hall.

 

It should be noted that the return match between the teams will be held on December 5 in Portugal. The winner of the pair will face the winner of the AEK (Greece) - Sporting (Portugal) duel in the 1/4 finals.
