Azerbaijan's futsal champion "Araz-Nakhchivan" will face the Portuguese club "Benfica" in the 1/8 finals of the UEFA Champions League. Sport24.az reports that if the team qualifies for the 1/4 finals, they will face the winner of the AEK (Greece) – "Sporting" (Portugal) pair.
The first leg of the 1/8 finals between the teams will be held in Baku on November 24, and the return match will be held on December 5 at the opponent's field.
The 1/4 final games will be held on February 23 and March 6.
It should be noted that the tournament is being organized in its current format for the first time. Previously, an elite round was held after the main stage.
