"Formula 1" has developed a work plan to change the season calendar in case previously canceled races return.
Idman.Biz reports this with reference to the Spanish publication DAZN.
According to the source, the championship management intends to keep the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on the calendar and return the Bahrain Grand Prix to restore the two races canceled in April. According to the current working version, the Bahrain Grand Prix will be held on the first weekend of October - October 2-4, between the races in Azerbaijan and Singapore.
If this scenario is implemented, after the end of the European part of the season and the Madrid Grand Prix, the championship will feature a triple race in Azerbaijan, Bahrain and Singapore.
After a week-long break, the calendar will continue with another series of three races in Mexico, Austin and Brazil. Then, after another break, "Formula 1" will hold a third triple race with races in Las Vegas, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. According to the source, in this case, the season will end on December 20 with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
