Former Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane will soon return to football as the head coach of the French national team.
Lent.az reports that the French Football Federation has already reached an agreement in principle with him.
Current head coach Didier Deschamps will continue to work with the team until the end of the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. After the tournament, he will leave his post and Zidane will take his place.
It is also reported that Zidane has rejected several offers from various clubs during his break in his coaching career because he is only focused on working with the French national team.
As the head coach of Real Madrid, he has won a number of titles, including three consecutive Champions League trophies.
