Vitali Vernidub, the coach of the "Neftçi" football team, participated in a press conference after the 1:5 defeat against "Qarabağ" in the 29th round of the Misli Premier League. While answering journalists' questions, he touched upon the problems in the team and the difference in level with the opponent.

"We are at different levels with 'Qarabağ'. It is not easy to reach this level, you need to train every day. Our players must understand that motivation alone is not enough to play against such a team. Each player must forget their ambitions, their resentment and put the interests of 'Neftçi' above everything else," said the expert.
The coach also spoke about the quality of the opponent's midfielders:
"Players like Pedro Bikalyo, Marko Janković and Joni Montiel play in the Champions League and show their level there. We prepared for this game, we analyzed them. But we could have improved the tactical aspects even more. We as coaches have to ask ourselves this question."
Referring to Musa Gurbanli's performance, the expert admitted that the striker was able to break through the defense:
"We were prepared, but he played better in those situations. I apologize to the fans for today's score. I hope this will not happen again in four days. We will make some changes for this."
