Teams featuring two former Azerbaijan international footballers faced each other in the Turkish First Football League.
Idman.Biz, referring to the official match protocol of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), reports that in the opening match of the 12th round of the First League, "Vanspor," clad in the colors of Ozan Can Kocku, defeated "Boluspor," where Elvin Yunuszade played, with a score of 3:0 in an away match.
In the match held on October 23 at the "Bolu Ataturk" Stadium, the visitors scored all three goals in the second half.
In the 58th minute, Hikmet Ciftci opened the score from a penalty. In the 70th minute, Ilkan Sever increased "Vanspor's" lead. In the 90+6th minute, Alvarez de Oliveira determined the final result.
Ozan Can Kocku started the match for the winning team and was substituted in the 79th minute. Elvin Yunuszade, who was on the "Boluspor" substitute's bench, joined the game in the 90th minute. Thus, the former members of the Azerbaijan national team did not have the opportunity to play against each other on the field.
After this victory, "Vanspor" reached 10 points and settled in 17th place in the league table. "Boluspor," with only one point, is in last place among the 20 teams.
