Changes have occurred in the national team consisting of football players under 17 years of age.
İdman.Biz reports with reference to sportnet.az that although the contract with head coach Aqil Nabiyev was extended until July 1, assistant coach Emin Imamaliyev and goalkeeper coach Elshan Poladov have parted ways.
Other assistants - coach Emin Mustafayev and physical training coach Jamil Hajiyev - remained in the team.
The reason for the mysterious change has not been disclosed. It was reported that this happened at Nabiyev's personal request.
The head coach, who participated in the UEFA Development Tournament held in Shymkent, Kazakhstan from April 20-30 with all his assistants, made changes to the coaching staff after returning to Baku.
The extension of the contract period for only 2 months is due to the training camp planned for June.
It should be noted that Elshan Poladov and Emin Imamaliyev have been working in the U-17 national team since 2025.
