Former Manchester United player Danny Simpson spoke about two things that motivate Cristiano Ronaldo at the end of his career. Sport24.az reports that he made a statement about this to Goal:
"It wouldn't be right to write him off. I think he will continue to play and renew his contract as long as he scores goals and doesn't get injured. I am sure that he wants to score 1000 goals in his career and, moreover, play on the field shoulder to shoulder with his son.
He has already won almost everything, so his last wish in football is to see his son by his side. After that, he will be able to evaluate his career and say "what will happen next". Frankly, I can't say what will motivate him after that."
It should be noted that Simpson is a graduate of Manchester United's academy and played for the club from 2005 to 2010. Ronaldo wore the "Red Devils" jersey from 2003 to 2009.
Ronaldo currently has 949 goals to his name. His 15-year-old son trains in Al-Nassr's youth team and has debuted for Portugal's U-16 national team.
