Journalist Aleksandr Troitsky assessed the successful performance of Kazakhstan national team goalkeeper Stas Pokatilov in the Azerbaijani football team "Sabah" and shared information about his future.
İdman.Biz reports that the journalist emphasized that the Kazakh goalkeeper Stas Pokatilov's efforts were significant in "Sabah" becoming the Azerbaijani champion for the first time.
He noted that Pokatilov kept a clean sheet in 13 out of the 29 matches he played and conceded only 21 goals. In addition, he said that Uzbek midfielder Umarali Rakhmonaliyev also stood out with two goals and three assists:
"Since Rakhmonaliyev has a contract with the club until 2028, it is certain that he will play in the Champions League. The Kazakh goalkeeper's contract expires this summer. It is reported that head coach Valdas Dambrauskas is satisfied with his performance and the possibility of extending the contract is high.
