The federation president wants Skaloni to stay with the team and is trying to convince him to continue his work. The coach’s current contract is valid until the end of 2026.
Skaloni has been leading the Argentina national team since August 2018. Under his leadership, the team became world champion in 2022, won the Copa América in 2021 and 2024, and secured the Finalissima in 2022.
