Former "Real" and Spanish national team defender Sergio Ramos is close to buying "Sevilla". Sport24.az reports that this was reported by "Marca".
The footballer's company, "Five Eleven Capital", reached an agreement with "Sevilla" shareholders last winter to buy the club for 450 million euros (including debts). In addition, Ramos obtained a payment guarantee and agreed on a debt repayment schedule.
The official letter of intent to buy the club is valid until May 31. The parties have accelerated the process in recent days to meet this date. The agreement is currently under review by the Spanish National Sports Council (CSD). After the CSD approves the transaction, the sale of the club will be formalized.
Ramos, a graduate of "Sevilla", has been with the club since the age of 10. He wore the main team's jersey in two periods (2003-05 and 2023-24) and is without a club after leaving Mexican side "Monterrey".
