Rodri Ernandes, the new transfer of Spain's "Barcelona" football club, could appear in the starting lineup of the Catalans for the first time.
According to information cited by Idman.Biz's "Sport" edition, the 30‑year‑old Spanish player has reached optimal physical condition and is ready to start the match against "Valencia" from the first minutes in the fourth round of La Liga.
"Barcelona"'s head coach Hans‑Dieter Flick has not yet made a definitive decision regarding Rodri's inclusion in the starting eleven.
The midfielder transferred from "Manchester City" to the Catalan club on August 18. In Barcelona's previous two matches, the world champion entered the game from the bench.
The "Valencia" – "Barcelona" clash will take place on September 6.
