"Real Madrid" has released a statement on its official website regarding a fight that occurred this morning between midfielders Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni.
Idman.Biz reports that the verbal argument between Valverde and Tchouameni began during training on May 6. The argument continued today and escalated into a fight in the locker room.
"Real Madrid Football Club announces that, following the events that occurred this morning during the first team's training session, it has decided to initiate disciplinary proceedings against our players Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni.
The club will communicate the outcome of both cases in due course, once the corresponding internal procedures have been completed," the "Real Madrid" statement said.
