World-famous former football player Ricardo Quaresma has assessed the current situation of "Beşiktaş", the legend of which he is. Quaresma said he was saddened by the situation of the black and white team: "Currently, the strongest team in the Super League is "Galatasaray".
According to Lent.az, referring to foreign media, Quaresma said, expressing his sadness about the situation of "Beşiktaş": "To be honest, I am sad that "Beşiktaş" is far from the goal of fighting for the championship. Neither the squad structure nor the football played gives me pleasure. I think they should be more careful in choosing both players and coaches."
The Portuguese star, expressing his dissatisfaction with the situation, added: "As a fan, of course, I'm sad. It's not easy to see my club going through such a period. But this is football and I hope that next season we will see a "Beşiktaş" that can compete shoulder to shoulder with "Galatasaray"."
Quaresma stated that "Galatasaray" is the strongest team in Turkey and said: "I can't say that "Fenerbahçe" is better than "Beşiktaş" either, because it's not. But I see a very strong "Galatasaray" in the league right now. "Galatasaray" is currently the strongest team in the Super League. In terms of squad and coach, as a fan, I am not happy at all."
