"I think it was a very good game." Sport24.az reports that these words were said by "Sabah" player Timothée Puxach.
The Polish right-back shared his thoughts after the UEFA Champions League match in Baku, which their team lost 1-2 to Borussia Dortmund:
"I think we could have drawn the game at the end. Naturally, the difference lies in the individual quality of the players. Some of the world's best players feature in the opponent's squad. Therefore, it is natural that there is a certain difference. I think, thanks to the quality we displayed and the plan we prepared for the match, we could have drawn. There is a bit of disappointment within us for not achieving that."
Puxach emphasized that every match in the League Phase of the UEFA Champions League is difficult:
"We have already shown that we can compete at this level. We have three points, and today we could have at least drawn. It is normal for the opponent to create a lot of scoring opportunities because they are one of the best clubs in the world. Playing at this level now feels normal for us. Our team is improving from game to game. If you want to get points in the UEFA Champions League, everything has to be perfect."
