"Porto" has officially announced the transfer of defender Jakub Kiwior from the English club "Arsenal" for 17 million euros. An additional 5 million euros is included in bonuses. If the player is resold, the Portuguese club will also transfer 2 million euros to the "Gunners".
The player's contract with "Porto" is until 2030. The contract also includes a release clause of 70 million euros.
In the current Portuguese league season, 26-year-old Kiwior has made 24 appearances and provided one assist. He also has eight appearances and one assist in the Europa League.
Earlier, "Porto" secured the Portuguese championship early by winning 1:0 over "Alverca". This is the club's 31st such title. The "Dragons" lead the Primeira Liga table with 85 points after 32 games.
