President of the Professional Football League (PFL) Elkhan Samadov, who was involved in an accident on the road to Khankendi, will undergo another surgery.
Idman.biz reports that Sanan Abdullayev, PFL's Media and Marketing Director, stated this in his statement to "Report."
He said that the head of the organization's condition is currently assessed as good: "Elkhan bey's health condition is good and he regularly goes to work. He regularly undergoes physiotherapy during the week. Doctors say that everything is going well. He is expected to have another surgery in the next two months."
It should be noted that the incident occurred on December 16, 2023, on the section of the Yevlakh-Aghdam-Lachin road passing through the Aghdam region. A Mercedes Vito car driven by Rasim Gafarli, a resident of Baku, lost control while moving towards Khankendi city and crashed into a road sign. As a result, PFL President Elkhan Samadov, Vice President Aslan Shahgeldiyev, Executive Director Zaur Haji-Maharramov, Media and Marketing Director Sanan Abdullayev, Technical and Sports Director Elgiz Abbasov and driver Rasim Gafarli received various degrees of bodily injuries.
After the accident, Samadov underwent surgery several times.
