Former Liverpool and England striker Peter Crouch has suggested that Liverpool sign Robert Lewandowski, who is expected to leave Barcelona this summer. Sport24.az reports that the veteran footballer spoke about this to Paddy Power:
"It would be a smart transfer. Lewandowski is a world-class player. Maybe he's not young. But his transfer would be fantastic.
Isak is still regaining his form and I think he will have a good season next year. Who wouldn't want to sign Lewandowski? He can still score goals, and no one doubts that. The money spent on transfers last year did not pay off.".
It should be noted that the Polish striker will celebrate his 38th birthday in August this year.
