"Omonia" coach is satisfied with the result of the game in Baku.
According to "Report", Hennig Berg, the head coach of the Cypriot "Omonia" team, said this at a press conference after the first match of the III qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League, in which they won against "Araz-Nakhchivan" with four unanswered goals.
The expert said that they were happy to score four goals:
"We didn't see the ball in our goal. We have to go to the next match at home and finish our work. I was satisfied with the result."
He said that the quality of the grass cover was not good:
"It was difficult to play here. But we scored good goals. I was satisfied with the performance of the players."
Henning Berg recalled that they had previously faced "Qarabag" in European Cups:
"Qarabag" was a more experienced team at that time. "Araz-Nakhchivan" is a newly formed team. Our opponent today performed very well in the previous stage. We did not achieve this result easily."
It should be noted that the return match between the parties will take place on August 14.
