The first match day of the 26th round of the Misli Premier League will conclude in Sumgayit. Sport24.az reports that the city's namesake team will host "Neftchi" within its "home walls".
Currently, the home side has 32 points and occupies 7th place, while the "black and whites" are in 6th place with 37 points. If the visitors return from Sumgayit with a victory today, they can overtake "Araz-Nakhchivan" in the tournament table and rise to 5th place, even if only for one day.
In the first round match between the teams in Sumgayit, "Neftchi" won 2:0. In the second round, the match held in the capital ended in a draw - 2:2.
It should be noted that the other matches of the round will take place tomorrow and on Tuesday evening.
