Italian club "Napoli" has released an official statement regarding forward Romelu Lukaku.
"Report" reports, citing the club's press service, that Lukaku did not respond to today's call from the team regarding his return to training.
It is reported that "Napoli" is considering disciplinary measures against the player and a decision on whether he will train with the team will be made later.
It should be noted that Lukaku had previously left the Belgian national team camp before friendly games against the USA and Mexico to try to improve his physical condition. Although he trained in his country, Belgium, this step was not agreed upon with the club.
The Naples representative does not rule out the possibility of excluding the player from the squad if he does not join the team by tomorrow.
Lukaku transferred to "Napoli" in 2024. In the 2025/2026 season, the 32-year-old striker played in 7 games for the team in all tournaments, scoring 1 goal and providing 1 assist.
