Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer has been removed from Manchester United's summer transfer plans.
Idman.Biz reports that while Manchester United management highly values the 24-year-old English footballer, they do not consider his transfer a top priority. The Mancunians want to focus on strengthening the center line and defense during the summer transfer window.
It was previously claimed that Palmer was a Manchester United fan since childhood and might view a move to Old Trafford positively after the team's return to the Champions League. Uncertainty has arisen regarding the footballer's future amid Chelsea's unstable season and another coaching change.
However, Manchester United has withdrawn from this transfer. The Mirror writes that Palmer's transfer fee is at least £90 million (207 million AZN). The footballer has a contract with Chelsea until 2033 and a weekly salary of £150,000 (345,900 AZN).
Palmer joined Chelsea in 2023 from Manchester City for £40 million (92 million AZN).
