PSG coach Luis Enrique has shared his thoughts on the playing styles of the Parisians and London's Arsenal team ahead of the UEFA Champions League final.
İdman.Biz reports that the match will take place on May 30 at the Puskas Arena in Budapest.
"I don't think these two teams show conflicting games. Arsenal is a team built in the image of Mikel Arteta. He is clearly inspired by Pep Guardiola's ideology based on ball possession football. The team displays a highly competitive nature - that's where Mikel's personality shines.
Arsenal is the best defensive team in Europe and has been for several years. This is an impressive combination. The team does not rely on a single player. They score a lot of goals from standard shots and combine two qualities: solid defense and high scoring.
Some may say that Arsenal doesn't score team goals - but does it matter? Ask any Arsenal fan - I'm sure they're very happy. The team won the Premier League and I congratulate them. They deserved to win from the start as they had a fantastic season. They have come very close to winning every tournament they have played in.
We have similarities: Like Arsenal, we also try to make the most of our strengths and capabilities. For this, we must keep the ball and perform well on the field. We can score from standard shots. We also like to keep the ball with team work, like finding ways to break down the opponent's defense, and we have to do it as a team.
Our players have more individual qualities, but they also play as a team. I think we're talking about two great teams - along with Bayern, they are one of the top three teams in Europe. All this means that if we want to beat Arsenal, we will have to adapt - play and defend differently than usual," said Enrique.
