At the initiative of AFFA, a seminar on match‑fixing was held for the football players, coaches and technical staff of the U‑15, U‑16, U‑17 and U‑19 teams of the "Gabala" Football Academy. Sport24.az reports that at the event Naib Asadov, head of AFFA’s Compliance and Match‑Fixing Prevention Department, and leading expert Murad Mammadli gave speeches.
During the seminar information was provided about participation and manipulation cases in match‑fixing, emphasizing that such attempts or concealment of information constitute a serious disciplinary violation.
