Liverpool have approached Napoli defender Sam Bukema. Sport24.az reports that AreaNapoli has reported this.
According to the source, the head coach of the English team, Arne Slot, has requested the transfer of the Dutch football player from the management. Liverpool have been looking for a new centre-back for some time to increase competition in defence.
Liverpool have offered the Italian club €28 million for Bukema.
It should be noted that the defender has made 31 appearances in all tournaments this season and scored two goals. Bukema has been wearing the Napoli shirt since July 2025. His contract with the Naples club expires in June of this year.
