After the XXX round of the Misli Premier League match "Qarabag" – "Turan Tovuz" (2:1), the head coach of the guest team, Kurban Berdyev, answered journalists' questions. Sport24.az reports that the expert first shared his thoughts on the meeting:
– In general, it was a tough game. "Qarabag" was the more dominant side. The two goals conceded at the beginning of the second half affected our game. In the end, we tried to improve the situation, but it didn't work out.
– What is Denis Marandici's condition?
– He had surgery. We hope he will return next season.
– How would you comment on missing so many scoring opportunities?
– I think it was due to excitement. If we could have taken advantage of the opportunities, it would have been different.
– Was there more skill from the opponent in the goals you conceded, or a mistake by your goalkeeper?
– The second goal was a ricochet, and the first goal was due to the opponent's skill.
– It was a crucial match in the race for second place. Do you think your players were motivated enough?
– As I mentioned before, there was excitement, and this was due to pressure.
